I got down from the 7th floor to the lobby at about 10,15 o'clock to get a cab to Pheonix Mall and talked to the 'travel desk', "They do not open until 11 o'clock!!!!", internet site says 10:30 but OK ... blablabla I do not argue about anything not in India anyway I been here a couple of times and if you ever come here do take this advice:
- India is India
- it is a totally different culture that you are used too
- do not make a scene over nothing
- if something did not get as you thought it would get, it will be OK in the end.
- always remember, YOU are the guest and follow local rules and laws.
- religion is a BIG part of India do not ever offend any of the religious figures, spirits or Gods.
I should make above another blog but it is already written here so I keep it ;-)
But finally I got to Phoenix at 11 and there driver said " I will be be here at sharp kl 1400" ... What ? Sharp 14.00? In India? OK, I have requested for a cab at 14 so I actually believed him and planned for 14 o'clock sharp ;-)
